Stability and large-library responsiveness
  • Improved stability for long-running background work, including Source Index and Technical MIDI Scan.
  • Faster organization candidate selection for large libraries, with Safe Stop able to interrupt database preparation.
Source Index stability
  • Improved stability during long Source Index runs and during background worker cleanup.
  • Resume and safe-stop handling now preserve completed work more reliably, with safer background worker cleanup.
MIDI/RMID recovery and diagnostics
  • Additional valid RIFF/RMID and recoverable MIDI files can now be indexed instead of being rejected unnecessarily.
  • Malformed or non-MIDI files remain fail-closed, with clearer parser failure reasons for troubleshooting.
Startup window sizing
  • The application reapplies its intended initial geometry after showing the main window, improving first-open sizing on desktop environments where the window manager applies geometry late.

  • Windows 1.3.2 is available through Microsoft Store package 1.3.2.0, built from source a5d8b02 and runtime-smoke-tested on Windows 11.
  • Linux 1.3.2 is available as Debian package 1.3.2-1, built from source a5d8b02 and runtime-accepted on Ubuntu 26.04 LTS amd64.

Organization analysis, offline-first discovery and safer library workflows

  • Stronger Organization analysis combined filename evidence with embedded MIDI/KAR metadata and the offline music reference.
  • Long-running analysis gained clearer phase, elapsed-time and heartbeat feedback, with safer review, rename and re-evaluate handling.
  • Version 1.x lifetime licensing and the 100 lifetime unique verified Trial / Free output policy were established for the 1.3 release.

Durable large-library analysis and incremental Organizer work

  • Linux 1.2.2-1 made the Source Index durable across restarts and kept Technical MIDI Scan work resumable.
  • Organizer could work with the safe current-DONE subset while other files were still finishing technical analysis.
  • Library Health and the five-language manual were refreshed for the 1.2.2 workflow.

First production generation

  • Combined Search & Filter, explainable File Detail scoring and targeted Review Queue reanalysis formed the production review workflow.
  • Copy-first Organizer planning, database-backed Organized Library browsing and Playback Queue were productionized.
  • FAT12 720 KB / 1.44 MB disk-image creation, IMG inspection, database health/recovery and five-language localization were included.
0.9.x - 0.9 release series

External-test release candidates and first Store milestone

  • 0.9.0 provided the functionally frozen Windows/Linux release candidate from one verified source for external testing.
  • The series hardened analysis trust, recovery, Organizer and Playback Queue workflows, device/type filters and floppy/Gotek tools.
  • 0.9.5 became the first MIDI Manager version published through Microsoft Store and was install-tested from the public Store.
