The first public build is not online yet. This page shows the release status, planned Windows preview scope, safety notes and the information that will appear when a tested download is ready.

The first Windows preview build is being prepared and tested. Early Access signups will be notified when a safe preview build is ready to download.

Important: MIDI Manager is not a web application and not a cloud storage service. The downloadable app will run locally and work with folders you choose on your own computer, NAS or storage device.
Planned first platform

Windows preview first

The first external testing target is Windows 11 Pro. Linux and possibly macOS can follow later after the Windows workflow is proven and documented.

Preview status Preparing Download file, checksum and release notes will be added only after the build has passed testing.

Local desktop app

The preview is intended to demonstrate that MIDI Manager works with folders you select locally. Your MIDI, KAR and keyboard files are not uploaded to this website.

Controlled demo limits

The first preview should have clear Trial/Free limits, visible version information and pre-release warnings before it is shared publicly.

Release notes required

Every public build should include what changed, what is incomplete, known limitations, upgrade notes and testing advice.

Checksums required

Download pages should include a SHA256 checksum so users can verify the installer or archive they downloaded.

First Windows preview scope

Planned to show

  • Choose local folders for MIDI/KAR files.
  • Index and browse a limited test collection.
  • Search, inspect and play selected files.
  • Show the Organized Library and Playback Queue direction.
  • Explain Trial/Free, Personal and Professional tiers clearly.

Not a promise yet

  • No public download until a tested build exists.
  • No cloud account or remote file storage.
  • No upload of private MIDI collections.
  • No purchase required for joining Early Access.
  • No final feature guarantee before release notes are published.

Release checklist before a download appears here

  1. Build number and version are visible in the app.
  2. Trial/Free file limit and feature limits are confirmed.
  3. Windows 11 Pro test run is completed on a clean machine.
  4. Release notes and known limitations are written.
  5. Installer/archive checksum is generated and published.
  6. No private signing, licensing, admin or development secrets are bundled.
  7. Backup and safe-testing advice is visible before users download.
